Heriot-Watt University has developed a series of “Engineer for a Day” workshops to give participants an opportunity to explore various engineering disciplines (Mechanical; Energy; Automotive; Civil; Architectural; Chemical; Electrical and Electronic; Robotics, Autonomous and Interactive Systems).
Their next fun and interactive Engineering workshop will be the 'Aeronautical Engineer for a Day'. Be an Aeronautical Engineer for a Day and design your own flight-ready wing profile, then put it to the test. Address stability, alter geometry while accounting for fluid interaction, and even estimate the load it can carry.
