A career blog for students,
by students

An internship is often a cool and unreachable concept to us. An online course is something we'd like to do, but don't know where to do it from. We're interested in volunteering, but we didn't find where we could on Google. We'd like to be updated with recent career events and news, and university options and applications, but haven't yet found a website to help us do so. This website was created with all these problems in mind, and to help all of us who want to learn more about the world around us <3

Our Why

Hey There! Welcome to The Career Blog.

This website is something we’ve always wanted to do - Here’s Why.

A year ago, after having the privilege to experience 4 internships between the two of us, we realized that we were among the lucky ones. Information on extra - curriculars isn’t mainstream, and neither are we enthusiastically encouraged to take our time to find our passions and career paths. We ourselves don’t realize how eye - opening and incredibly fun it can be to participate in extra/co - curriculars, to try our hand at different skill paths, meet new and inspiring people, or even just take the time out to enjoy our hobbies. More importantly, we don’t realize how crucial it is for a balanced lifestyle and to get the best out of our academics.

If there’s one thing we want you to remember at all times, it’s that we are all on our own paths. We are not doing this to facilitate a harmful hustle culture or peer comparison. While it’s good to raise your anxiety levels and work load on purpose so you can grow and build resilience, burnout is very real and very serious. It is extremely important to take time out for your friends and family, to enjoy nature and life, and let your mind and body rest. Assess your time and priorities before you take on an additional task, and remember that academics are equally important.

Shoutout to our Mass Media teacher Ms. Annette Londhe for providing the seeds of an idea that we were able to nurture and make our own, and for constantly supporting us throughout this journey. While we’ve brought it to life, whether or not it stays relevant and proves a truly useful tool is up to you guys. If you hear of any opportunities you’d love to share, want to suggest any changes, ask a doubt or just connect with us, do drop us an email.

Godspeed.
